Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your My Patterns account and the data associated with it, and what happens to your data after deletion. It applies to the account you created inside the app using your email address or phone number.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the My Patterns app and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Open the Delete Account section.
- Tap Delete My Account and confirm. Your account is then scheduled for deletion.
Deletion is not immediate: your account enters a 30-day grace period during which nothing is removed. If you change your mind, open the same section and tap Restore My Account (or just sign in again — a banner offers to restore it). After 30 days the data is permanently deleted automatically.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address linked to your account and we will delete it for you:
Please use the subject line "Delete my account". We verify the request against your registered email/phone and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your profile (name, date of birth, gender, email, phone).
- All numerology profiles/analyses you saved.
- Any consultant application you submitted.
- Your referral wallet, referral links, and referral credits, and your support tickets.
- Personal in-app notifications addressed to you.
What we keep, and why
For legal, tax, and accounting reasons we retain a record of financial transactions (purchases and payout requests), but these are anonymised — the identifying details (your uid, name, email, phone, and UPI id) are stripped so the record can no longer be linked back to you. These anonymised financial records are kept only as long as applicable tax and accounting laws require, and are then deleted.
