This Privacy Policy explains how My Patterns ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

- Account details: your name, email address, and/or phone number used to register and sign in.
- Profile data: name and date of birth you enter to generate numerology readings (for yourself or other profiles you add).
- Authentication data: one-time passwords (OTP) sent to your email or phone to verify your identity.
- Usage & referral data: referral codes, in-app activity, and notifications relevant to your account.
- Payment information: if you purchase a plan, payment is handled by our payment provider; we store only the transaction record, not your full card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create your account and generate your numerology readings and reports.
- To verify your identity via email/SMS one-time passwords.
- To operate referral rewards, send service notifications, and provide customer support.
- To improve the app's features, reliability, and security.
3. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored securely in a managed MongoDB Atlas database. Access is protected by authenticated, encrypted connections and access controls. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never kept in plain text. We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the app — for example, email and SMS delivery providers (such as MSG91) for sending OTPs, and our payment processor for purchases. These providers process data only on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Your Rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
- You may delete your account, after which we remove your personal data except where retention is required by law. You can do this yourself from Account → Delete My Account inside the app, or follow the steps on our Account & Data Deletion page.

6. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
